Lieutenant Jose L Rodriguez

Meet Jose L Rodriguez; he served in the Coast Guard as a Lieutenant. During this, he took the lead of the TACLET Program (Tactical Law Enforcement) and Riverine Training Center, Special Operations Training Group, II MEF at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and one of the MSSTs. He was also the first Hispanic-American to earn his Gold/Navy jump wings. When he served the Coast Guard, he had to be fearless to command these many roles when training for leading a counter-terrorism unit. I admire him because of his confidence. Taking these roles and obtaining his jump wings is a huge goal. Jose shows an admirable path that I would most definitely follow because of his many traits, such as being confident, being an excellent leader, bravery, and working hard.
