On Saturday, September 2nd, I went white water rafting down the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. I felt a relation between the white water rafting trip and what i learned from my vessel operations class. For example, while on the raft my younger cousin fell into the river so we did something similar to a man overboard drill. We made sure someone had an eye on her at all times, someone was keeping the team on track and working together to get back to her. It was really hard because we were getting pushed the other way by all the crazy rapids and it was dangerous especially for her. Other than that frightening experience, the trip was amazing and definitely something new that I would do again and recommend to others.
