Lettie Trip

The junior students went out on Lettie to see the first and oldest light house in the US. They got caught in the middle of a storm. Most of the students got sea sick because of the waves crashing against the sailboat. It was pouring rain and water got inside. The first day was awful but the next day it was calm and the students were ready to learn how to sail and to visit the lighthouse. We learned that, when in the middle of a storm, you should put the sails up so the boat won't rock as much. Also no matter how sick you are, you should still try to stay up and help. Now we know what to do in a really bad storm happens. Despite the bad weather, we had a lot of fun!
