A New Day on the Simulator
This Tuesday was another great day using the simulator. Normally we start out in familiar surroundings, but not today. Five vessels were set up in the program and not one was within 30 nautical miles of our destination. My vessel, the Privateer, was set a few miles out in the Atlantic ocean. It took myself and my first mate, Michael P., a few moments to reorient ourselves, but we got a good idea of our surroundings and set out on a course for the Ambrose Channel into the New York Harbor.
We successfully navigated to our end goal without any hiccups, even though we were in unfamiliar surroundings. We've made so much progress I'm proud.
