The Harbor School experience

How many schools do you know are able to send high school students to operate boats, dive into the water with their scuba diving gear, engage in a Billion Oyster Project, have boat building classes that allow you to test out the boats you've designed and many more marine opportunities. Harbor School gives students chances to explore their maritime options and opens many doors for us.

My vessel operations class has taught me to operate vessels, it helped me get the Safe Boaters Certificate to operate recreational vessels up to 60ft long.

Since I was little I've always wanted to be out on a boat, enjoy the breeze and be able to operate small vessels on my own.  Although being able to operate vessels is harder than I thought, what's a better place to learn how to do it, around people who actually want to help you, than the NY Harbor School.
