In this session, the specifics of bridge resource management is discussed, as well as how these should be used. In some cases, people do take classes, while others just accumulate this skill over time. Bridge resource management is understanding all the resources accessible to you and being able to apply them when needed. This includes but is not limited to:

-command structures

-crew capabilities

-technical capabilities

-protocols for emergencies

With this knowledge, one can fully access how to successfully and safely conduct operations. Having learned the basic skills taught in this session, we can start applying them to the Harbor School waterfront, so we all know what resources are available to us and how we should use them.
