Learning Navigation!

Throughout the past few weeks my classmates and I have been learning all about navigation. Navigation is really fun and I really enjoy it. There have been many times where I feel that I'm lost but my partner always helps me. We have been plotting course, measuring distance, calculating ETA and have also been plotting lat and long. My favorite part is plotting course and measuring distance.

The worst part of navigation for me is ETA. It is the most difficult is because there are so many steps to do. There is a whole equation for finding estimated time of arrival. First you need to know your distance, speed and time. Then you have an equation where you first put time equals distance times 60 over speed. I feel that learning navigation is going to be useful for the rest of my life. I really enjoy everything about navigation and I'm even thinking about pursuing a job in it.
