A Day out on the water

On Wednesday, March 8th, 2017, a handful of the vessel ops seniors when aboard Indy 7 and went underway to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Those students were myself, Amadou, Almeta, and Emely. When we arrived to the Navy Yard, we pumped out the bilge on Indy's bow.

Since it was Women's National Day, Emely took on the job and placed the tube in an oil barrel. That took about 10-15 minutes. Then we had to head back to Governors Island. When we were appoarching the island, we set up lines in the starboard side and one of our own students docked it was a fun and good class day.
