Darryl Lelie

Darryl Lelie is a New York native and also a restaurant owner. He opened the first black-owned seafood restaurant on City Island called Seafood Kingz 2. It opened on February 26th 2022 and is located on 634 City Island Avenue. This restaurant is the first of its kind on the Island. It offers seafood with a southern twist. He wanted to bring seafood with a southern twist and with soul food trimmings to a place that's never experienced something like it before. “ Real soulful stuff” he said. Any restaurant on the Island gets business, some more than others. It's easy to grab a bite and head out to the dock, the boat, the backyard, really anywhere. When it's close to a marina its bound to get busy.
